THEA 142: Development of Dramatic Art I
As I read Prometheus Bound I imagined the majority of the stage as being an enormous rock or a mountain that Prometheus is chained down to. I pictured the stage as being a dark evil place with fog and a wet cold feel to it. I also pictured the background being very dark colors like black, purple, and gray colors. The background would be made from some kind of fabric so it could move to give the audience the fell of wind or stormy weather. During intense scenes I imagine that there would be a sharp, loud screeching sounds to make everything seem more dramatic. When Zeus appears thunderbolts would be illuminated for the audience to easily identify that it was Zeus. There would also be a brighter light on Zeus to show that he is superior to the other characters.
This is how I imagined Prometheus Bound as I read the play.

I believe these ideas are very creative and smart to use. Your mobile background and colors were nice, but i would suggest using a sike in order to be able to change the colors between times that different characters are on stage. This allows you to more effectively change and set the mood with each new character that is introduced.
I pretty much agree with how you picture Prometheus bound. Dark, gloomy, and evil yet there shouldn't be a sense of dullness. This is because the screeching and lightning bolts would counter the darkness.
